The ‘Better Together’ online community hub was set up by Sevenoaks District Council in partnership with the Voluntary Sector, to transform our communities – by empowering them.
Following on from the success of the ‘Care for our Community’ scheme, the Council and partners wanted to continue to encourage residents to become more involved in their community and support positive change.
Through our new platform residents can:
- Discover what’s happening across the Sevenoaks District
- Promote events, activities & community groups
- Search volunteer opportunities
- Access support to launch a community group or project
